Shenzhen Hapmic Co., Ltd. is a company focusing on precise in vitro diagnostics of pathogens. It was established in November 2021 by Shenzhen HaploX Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a national high and new technology enterprise. Hapmic's core business focuses on the research and development of pathogens nucleic acid testing, as well as the research and development of pathogens diagnostic technologies, aiming to provide high-quality precision diagnostics products and solutions for clinical applications.

Products Under Development

Gastrointestinal infections are common health problems of gastrointestinal tract inflammation caused by viral, bacterial or parasitic infections. In select populations, gastrointestinal infections carry a high risk of morbidity and mortality. For instance, the elderly, young children and people with chronic illnesses or compromised immune systems can become acutely dehydrated from gastrointestinal infections and require prompt medical attention. Distinguishing possible causes of gastrointestinal infections can be challenging due to overlapping symptoms. Conventional testing methods are slow, labor intensive, and often inaccurate in identifying the disease etiology.


Hapmic is currently developing molecular diagnostic products as a solution for detecting gastrointestinal pathogens. These two test kits cover four highly relevant infectious pathogens associated with gastrointestinal infections, facilitating early disease management and infection control.

HapMic CDInfection PCR Testing Kit

Clostridium difficile (C. difficile) is a bacterium that can cause diarrhea and colitis. Approximately 15% to 20% of cases of antibiotic-associated diarrhea are caused by the pathogen C. difficile, and over 95% of all cases of pseudomembranous colitis are attributed to C. difficile. PCR testing is currently the mainstream method for detecting C. difficile.

HapMic CDInfection PCR Testing Kit is a qPCR-based kit designed for C. difficile detection in individuals with suspected C. difficile infection. HapMic CDInfection PCR Testing Kit rapidly detects C. difficile by targeting a highly conserved genomic region of C. difficile toxin B gene.

HapMic DiarrClear PCR Testing Kit

HapMic DiarrClear PCR Testing Kit is a qPCR-based testing kit designed for the detection of norovirus GI/GII, rotavirus group A and adenovirus types F40/41 (also known as enteric adenovirus) in stool samples from individuals with signs and symptoms of diarrhea. As these viruses are highly contagious and can cause diarrhea and acute gastroenteritis that often require hospitalization, their accurate and timely detections are critical for enabling early disease management and infection control.
