HaploX Study in Cancer Research Unveils Blood Test for Improved Lung Nodule Diagnosis

A new study by HaploX, published in the prestigious journal Cancer Research, demonstrates a powerful approach to diagnosing indeterminate pulmonary nodules (IPNs) using T cell receptor (TCR) repertoire analysis.
By performing large-scale TCR sequencing on over 6,000 samples, the research team built the comprehensive LungTCR database. Leveraging this resource, they developed TCRnodeseek plus, a diagnostic model that integrates TCR profiling with clinical data and CT imaging.
This breakthrough provides a much-needed, non-invasive tool to help distinguish benign lung nodules from malignant ones, potentially reducing unnecessary invasive procedures and enabling earlier lung cancer detection.
