HaploX is proud to announce that HaploX Hong Kong Laboratory has officially received accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), one of the most rigorous and globally recognized quality standards in clinical laboratory diagnostics.
CAP accreditation is widely regarded as the "gold standard" for medical laboratories worldwide. The assessment covers comprehensive inspection checkpoints across laboratory management, personnel training, quality systems, equipment and reagent control, proficiency testing, and biosafety. Reports issued by CAP-accredited laboratories are recognized for clinical diagnosis and are a prerequisite for new drug clinical trials and market approval in the United States.
Sited within Hong Kong's premium biotech innovation cluster at Hong Kong Science Park, HaploX Hong Kong Lab serves as HaploX's core international service hub, catering to clinical, pharmaceutical, and research partners across Europe, the Americas, and the Asia-Pacific region. The laboratory is working toward achieving dual CAP and CLIA certification and will serve as HaploX's overseas business, R&D, and collaboration hub.
With this accreditation, HaploX Hong Kong Laboratory is now equipped to provide global pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and research institutions with gene testing services and solutions that meet the highest international standards, including AI-driven liquid biopsy, multi-omics analysis, and intelligent interpretation.
Since its establishment, HaploX has consistently benchmarked against international industry standards. The company has achieved perfect scores in over 400 proficiency tests conducted by CAP, CLIA, EMQN, NCCL, and other domestic and international quality evaluation programs. HaploX operates multiple testing platforms including NGS, digital PCR, single-cell sequencing, and pathology, supported by automated processing systems and comprehensive bioinformatics analysis capabilities.
